Hurricane Matthew brought brutal forces of wind and tidal waves of rain on the entire country of Haiti, and there are towns like Bainet in Haiti that experienced mass destruction of homes, schools, churches, animals and crops. Additionally, the roads that existed have been completely washed away making it very hard for people who live in the community to leave and for Haitian government aid workers to get to them.
We are numb with the challenges and the loss, but we must help the people not only move through this, but move forward. Your donation will help us with our immediate response of providing basic life necessities such as drinking water and a meal and will later help us restore independence to the people of the region.
